Question please if someone can help. So my plum tree is over 8 ft and I water it probably once a week I would say. The leaves are all getting yellowish brown. Am I doing something wrong? I follow this app but I don’t know??

Where are you located, and what’s the weather like there right now? How often do you usually get rain?

I live in Carson California. Not much rain. I do the watering. Am I overwatering?

Can you move it to half shade? My potted guava tree did better during the summer heat and tropical storm under the roof of our house in half shade.

When was the last time you fertilized it and how often. Also make sure you are useing right types of fertilizer. I would say dump some used coffe grounds around base. The nitrogen will help with browning leaves while promoting growth. It works well in most trees and bush type plants. That use high nitrogen
