Hi! Does anyone have experience with crape myrtles? I planted mine as a tiny cutting (like an inch tall) and it rooted and was growing great until recently when it just stopped. And then it started wilting and dropping its lower leaves. I repotted it thinking that might be the problem but I haven’t seen and improvement. It stopped growing a little while after I moved and it’s getting less sun then it was, could that be the problem?

They like full sun. Do you an outdoor spot that you could put it in?

Not outdoors but I just moved him to a spot that gets a ton of light in the afternoon (my other sun loving plants do well here).

Shock seems to be a problem as you stated, for watering how do you go about that? Also how big is the root system is it about an inch smaller then this pot?

Most plants can get fully soaked soil wise then after a few days of dry like a day or two then water if it sits in constant moisture it can rot. The inch rule is ok but I’d get a meter or do the stick test. The temporary dry spell helps even plants that likes bogs like Venus flytraps it allows all moisture to be used and prevent from soggy roots. What is it’s lighting like
