So I have a tomato plant that one of the stems at the bottom has broken off due to rain hitting it. If I trim that off will I be able to plant that and have it turn into another tomato plant as long as I do it as soon as possible? It does have tomatoes on it that haven’t ripened. So would I be able to?

I mean maybe. But you need rooting powder or something to clone it.

I would dip it in rooting powder and put it in water until you see roots developing and then plant.
