Can anyone please tell me what is sampling my tomatoes? More importantly how do I prevent it from destroying the other tomatoes. It’s happened multiple times now, always just as the fruit starts to turn orange/red. They are growing in a high bed and I have never seen anything bigger than an butterfly in my yard.

Possibly something nocturnal.. maybe a possum.

    Try experimenting with some netting

There are different types and sizes that might be useful. I just pulled the first image I saw.

Kinda looks like a few of my apples/tomatoes. We have a huge amount of wild birds and I've watched them digging in. Netting helps but buying a few rainbow pinwheels from the dollar store works better, in my opinion. Birds can see rainbows and when they see it spinning, they won't fly close. If it's an animal, I've found success in planting "dog and cat away" plants. They smell funky and the animals don't like that so they stay away. Keeps my cats from using my raised beds as a potty.

Sorry your experiencing that. As a gardener it’s like a punch to the gut. Take some bitter apple spray, repels all and a net and nothing will ever touch them again that walks on four legs or flies with two wings. Hope this helps!

I wish this worked to deter my Westie and Yorkie from plants. I’ve tried bitter apple, bitter cherry and orange peels 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
