    Nice! Ours just hit 6 feet but I worry they wasted too much time growing massive trunks and off shoot sunflowers. Do you trim the suckers on the bottom of them? Or just let it grow?

      I just let them grow. The bulbs are starting to open up now. By mid July they should be fully open

    I just noticed this! You have potatoes at the base of your sunflowers like I do. My biggest sunflowers share space with the potatoes. Must help them grow. Love your garden! Beautiful.
