Hi all! I am getting ready to leave for a week but I am worried about how to prep my outdoor plants that need full sun. I just bought them two weeks ago, so they are all still in pots. I have tomatoes, salvia, asiatic lily, lavender, clematis, and African irises. I live in the southern United States, where it’s pretty warm and I’m worried about them drying out. Any suggestions/tips are gladly appreciated

I will be traveling this summer and am in zone 10a east central Florida. I am going to be using the terra-cotta watering spikes with water bottles.

7a location here. Our local Lowe's has some nice elevated raised beds that have a 4 gal reserved water holding system in it with a water gauge. Thats what I planted some of my vegetables in to try out this season.

Time to find a friendly neighbor that would want to water them or invest in automated watering systems(like drip irrigation). They have some that are solar powered. But the ones that are battery charged last a month anyway. I just bought a few more from Amazon to water my indoor small greenhouse when I go away.
