First time gardening here… Decided to try to grow my veggies from seeds. I started them in the nursery starter. Now what do I do?? I’m pretty sure I have to transplant them into a larger medium with only one plant. And I on the right track?
I’ve never used cells like that, so I’m not sure what people usually do with them, but I would think they could grow for quite a while in those. The tomatoes at least. The larger ones - are they cucumbers? - will need more room. And you could definitely keep 2-3 cukes together since they will sprawl out. For the tomatoes,you will just want to keep the strongest in each cell, but I usually wait a while before getting rid of any of them. What is their light source? They are getting leggy. South facing window and/or grow lights will help them. It can be a challenge sometimes, even with a southern wi dow to keep seedlings from doing that. You can repot them into a deeper container and fill soil over much of what you have now. That stem that’s under soil will put out roots and give a stronger root system, and then if they are getting great light they should stay more compact.

Yep, I was thinking they needed more light too. A fan lightly blowing on them will get them stronger too because it will cause resistance.
