My garden this year! Is this too many plants? They are taking a long time to grow, not sure if it’s because it’s over crowded. (The cilantro and parsley in the front left just got planted, so hoping they will perk up)

    This is fine for herbs but veggies like peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, etc., this is pretty tight for. Those plants really need 18 - 24” to ensure they can get enough water and nutrients and aren’t competing for resources…especially because they will spread out and get much larger.

    Last year I did the same set up with my peppers and they were fine. I have tomatoes in a separate pot. I’ll upload a pic of it later.
