I bought 2 Hydrangea bushes on clearance at Lowe’s & have been trying to nurse them- should I cut the brown blooms? I have trimmed the brown leaves since taking this photo. They have new buds that haven’t bloomed yet, and I’ve given them support to keep them off the ground.
The blooms on that still look pretty good. Not great, but good. I’d cut them soon but not just yet

0개 좋아요 Well, no, not normal exactly. I have several hydrangeas and run a lowes garden center 🤣 the browning leaves and flower either means they had them in too much sun or they got too little water. But the flowers do start to brown as they die. When the flower browns more just cut it, Overall it looks very healthy. This is my clearance white hydrangea from last year 😁😁
