My velvet alocasia...look at those roots...3 months in leca...still struggling to keep more than 2 leaves once a new one emerges, but only a young plant

    I’ve switched six Alocasia to semi hydro. They seem to be doing much better. It’s been about 4 to 6 months. One that didn’t do well was Jacklyn.

    Same, I struggled with a Jackyn although I didn't try leca, it was after losing it and quilted dream that I started moving them over, i have 4 others - the other one doing awesome is a dragon's breath.
