   I’ve transitioned all but one of my Alocasias into leca. I’m using Wavyleaf planters. They are the only ones I’ve found designed specifically for leca.

     Thanks. It took a few "re-dos" to get the level of roots/leca/water right. That's why I've started with glass vases (plus I have wsy too many vases and didn't know what to do with them) I'll check those planters out, I am slowly moving more of my guys into leca, which so far I'm loving it!

     Clear glass vases look great, I tried some too, but they quickly grow algae. Seemed worse than props in water, I assumed it was because of the added nutrients. And cleaning is a hassle without an outer pot.
