   General Hydroponics Flora Series Been using for last 3 years and happy with rapid growth and bigger leaves. Haven’t tried anything else.

   Just switched from Pretty in Green to General Hydroponics MaxiGro. Pretty in Green is fantastic and I LOVE that it adjusts the pH for you so it’s a true single step. Decided to try the General Hydroponics because it’s cheaper per gallon and theoretically does the same pH adjust, but I’ve found that I still have to use pH down with it so definitely an extra step there. I also have some plants in semi hydro and others in organic mixes, and I’ve started to see mold growth on some of the soil since switching. This is mostly on the more water retentive mixes and I’m sure the winter combo of cold and lower sun doesn’t help, but still not an issue I’ve had with other ferts. That said, the price is unbeatable and the semi hydro plants seem very happy and are growing well, so if you’re not using soil it may be a great choice for you. When I first started with semi hydro I used Dynagro (/superthrive) foliage pro. I thought it was good, but not great. Didn’t live up to the hype.

   Fox farm or superthrive. The megagreenhouse has good ones too
