Hey guys! I have a plant that is determined to kill itself unless it’s in water…. What do y’all add to your water to keep it alive? Is there anything to do that? I’ve never kept a plant in hydro but I’d appreciate any tips! Thank you all!!💚
I just add liquid fertilizer and sometimes a bit of superfood. I like to add new water and I change the water maybe once or twice a month! I agitate the water fairly often to try to get more oxygen in the water. To be fair I have no idea if this does anything. Not like an airstone or anything.

Some people use prop drops, but I don’t have that so I dilute TF out of my water (i keep them in about 3/4 to 1 cup of water so nothing crazy). I’m scared of burning them alive with it.
