How does one deal with mold buildup on leca? Can u prevent it , is it harmful ,,help

    Are you sure it’s mold? If you’re using tap water you will often see mineral buildup.

    Is it green? It may be algae. I just wash the container and wipe it out whenever I repot that plant, and rinse the leca. You can also make sure your reservoir is inside a darker pot to limit algae build up.

    Once a week I add a cap of hydrogen peroxide in the water of my aerogardens to help to kill bacteria. And wipe algie with clorox wipes

      Agreed! I also spray the inside of the pot when I clean it out and put fresh water in.
