I have six plants in PON now …🥳 🎈🎉, and I’m very happy about it! However, I have them in a clone solution while waiting for them to grow some water roots, which I understand will take a few days. Does anyone have an idea how long a plant can stay in this solution before changing them into PON? Most importantly, in your experience, how long do I have to wait before I know my plant has successfully adapted to PON? TIA!

좋아요 1개 This came from Wikipedia… The word PON in hydroponics comes from the Greek word “ponos”, meaning “work”. I’m not totally new to plants, but even I, with several years of gardening under my belt, had to ask Siri about this word. Lechuza, the German maker of the most popular brand of PON, was the one that named the rock substrate PON, and now everyone uses that term. Remember what our teachers told us, and that’s there’s no stupid questions. So feel free to ask anything about plants, and you’ll always get an answer from your Planta friends! I hope this helps!
