UPDATE: Recovery efforts on this root rotted Split Leaf Philodendron are going great. First two pics are what she looked like when I started. I treated root rot and cut all but one root & one broken leaf. Put into water w/SuperThrive & Prop Drops. Dusted nodes with rooting powder. Also added Microbe-Lift to prevent mosquito/gnat growth in standing water. Second two pics are now (three weeks later.) She has a full new leaf and several growth points off main stem. Good root growth off the main root. Two new aerial roots budding. Since she has a new leaf I cut the broken leaf to encourage a new leaf from that growth point. Will keep her in hydro for now.
