What’s up Planta fam!! Can anyone suggest a liquid fertilizer that I can feed my pothos? I recently tried an application of Alaska fish fertilizer but I’ve been told I shouldn’t use that since I’m leaving it in water. Happy Saturday! 😎
Its hard to tell from your photo if it has a root system yet. You don’t need to worry about fertilizer in the water until its got an established root system. You can use a super diluted Miracle Grow if you want, but I’d suggest (if you want to keep them in water long term) to invest in some hydroponic fertilizer :)

Pothos generally aren’t too picky. As long as you super dilute what you use to fertilize it, the plant should be fine. I’ve put mines in my fish tank before and it’s grown well

0 J'aimeI usually dilute mines to around 30% since its roots are directly in the solution, but if yours didn’t show any issues from what you did the first time, it should be fine. 2-3 weeks is what I do too. Every plant is different though! Don’t be afraid to adjust to what your plant wants
1 j'aime I am being overly cautious with this lol I followed the directions on the label. I added a few drops to the water I had in the jar already? I’m uncertain how much diluted fertilizer to give it.

I really enjoy “Clonex” by Growth Technology while they’re little like that. You are totally right about the organic matter, when you have semi hydroponics or hydroponics, fertilizers that are specifically formulated to that medium is the best! (And that is usually inorganic)
1 j'aime I just purchased “back to the roots” (a recommendation) it’s organic. The way I’m growing it, is it considered aquaculture or hydroponic? I think I’ve been saying the wrong thing 😂
