Hi! I wanted to try growing a plant in water instead of soil, but I am not sure which type to try. I thought of propagating my pothos, but it probably won’t do the best since it’s no longer growing season. If anyone has tips for the best types of plants to grow hydroponically lmk!

Alocasias and ZZ Plants were the two I had the easiest time with. But I was going to LECA, not full hydro.

0개 좋아요 It’s an inert growing medium used in semi-hydroponic growing systems. Made up of clay pebbles that hold the roots of the plant while you feed them with a nutrient solution that provides all their water and nutrition. (LECA stands for Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate.)

0개 좋아요I have a lot of plants that I got from friends (cuttings) and propagated in water. Can I just keep them in water or will they eventually all want to ideally be in soil? Monstera, philodendron, Hoya, wandering dude, string of pearls).
