   How did you get them to do so well? Mine started rotting in water

   I got them to last just a little over 5 months before the larger one started to drop flowers. I just let about 1/4 of the roots in the water and the rest were just exposed to the air in the container. I recently transferred two smaller orchids into the smaller glass container pictured with just a few dozen pieces of leca floating at the top and again have about 1/4 of the roots in the water/leca and one is reblooming. Additionally I added orchid specific fertilizer every so often. Changed water every 2 weeks.
