My newest addition and she is stunning 💚
New leaf unfurled on this Caladium. 💚🪴
should I cut off the brown parts? cut off the whole leaf? never that this problem before 😭 but both plants were recently treated for pests so I think that’s the reason for the issue
Hello! I was gifted many plants (over 60… at once.. with no experience) and am in the process of educating myself all the different plants and their care schedules/needs. This one here is a lemon button fern and apparently is for a more advanced grower but I’m determined so here we are. Does this bb need a bigger pot or is this normal? I will continue to google and YouTube these questions but since I’m new to Planta I figured I would give these forums a try.
Does anyone knows why my Fiddle Fig Tree leaves are clamping to the trunk like this?
So, I am worried I messed up when I did a mass repotting this weekend. (I listened to someone that may not have been as knowledgeable as I’d thought) I am mostly looking for opinions, and if I should remix soul and repot again. I mixed my own mix. It consisted of 1 part vermiculite, 1 part Perlite, 1part coco coir & 1-1.5parts black gold potting mix. Is this ok? Or should I restart? Potted is several philodendrons, pothos, & baby Thai constellation
I made a beautiful terrarium jar.
Just bought this little plant. It is a Thai constellation right? Planta cannot ID it maybe because it’s a baby? Also, any advice on care is welcome. Thanks!
Hey friends! I’m currently having quite the dilemma with my plant babies—fungus gnats are still in the soil of nearly all my plants when I haven’t watered for two weeks. On top of that, my Maranta and newly-propagated Pothos are growing new mushroom residents, which I never had before. I kind of got fed up and doused my plants with a Neem oil solution (like 5 tablespoons ish of oil to one water bottle full of water). I’m worried that I might have accidentally put my plants at risk of dying to that. Should I be worried? All my plants do have drainage. Also, what are these tiny orange mushrooms? Are they good or bad?
i’m so excited my baby is having a baby ☺️
I didn’t know snake plants could bloom indoors!
Got this GORGEOUS Caladium from armstrongs the other day ♥️🫶
How do you guys keep fungus gnats at bay? I’ve gotten dozens of glue traps scattered around but they fill up pretty quickly. I bought an electric fly/gnat trapper for my room and that seems to help, but in the living room it’s a massive issue.
So many flowers and buds ☺️
Took my Alocasia and broke her up into separate plants! She was so crowded and so many roots were lost in the process of all this 🫣 but she looks good.
Hi everyone, I’m new here and new to this plant life but so far so good!
My aroid corner (with a few imposters).
Philodendron “White Knight”
Good afternoon y’all! I just want to get a jump on care tips for this beauty! She caught my eye with those gorgeous tentacles 🐙 so she’s going right next to my goldfish plant! 🧡 nursery calls it a -Wrinkle Peperomia-
Check out this beauty I got from Wegmans last night! 😍 I’m going to repot her, as I do all new plants because who knows what’s in the soil. Would she prefer leca or a tropical mix that I make with potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, charcoal, and mosquito bits? I’m not familiar with what this plant likes. Thanks!
