Hello everyone! First post in here. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what type of Syngonium this is? It said “Strawberry Milkshake” but it wasn’t in the Planta database and couldn’t really find anything definitive on Google. Any info would be appreciated 🙂

Hello! I’m new to planta and i have a question/ concern about my monstera thai constellation that i recently purchased. I bought it about a week ago and it came with a couple brown spots and a tiny bit of yellowing on one of the smaller leaves, i’m a little worried about it because i heard these plants are notorious for root rot. Does anyone have any tips on what to do or how to fix it? Or any recommendations for taking care of it?
I’m using a chunky aroid mix and it’s in a clear pot with drainage holes, i checked up on the roots and they seem to be doing really well, except for one little root that was rotted, i chopped it off and now every other root is healthy.

Hello! I’m new here I recently got a fiddle leaf fig and I’m trying to be a good plant mom. I’ve heard to water once a week and mist daily. I’m doing that but I noticed one of the leaves are getting brown.. how do I fix that? And do you guys have any other tips?

Hello! My dieffenbachia is putting out a new leaf, but unfortunately the leaf got ripped a little when it was still closed and growing. Only the lower part has unfurled a little, while the top part isn't budging at all. (Now even the bottom half isn't unfurling anymore, so the leaf has been stuck like this for months.) Any advice on what I should do?

Aside from planta, where do you look for plant ID help? I usually get good IDs, but sometimes the species or variants are hard to determine. I am particularly looking for pothos, philodendron, and Syngonium resources! Thanks!
Baby leaf just because it’s cute.

Should I be trimming off crispy leaves or just leaving them? I’m also not sure why they’re crisping up like this. This is a new plant for me gifted by a friend who opened a plant shop so I’m just doing what the app tells me as far as misting and watering. She is a pink princess philodendron, split into 2 pots 💖 placed in our kitchen near our south facing sliding door but out of any direct light.
Thank you for any help!

Am I overwatering this baby? I know they like water but am I giving it too much water? The new growth looks good but the connecting bits look sad.

I just bought a full spectrum grow light for my monsteras and pothos. Does anyone have any advice on how long/bright I should have it on? My plants are all near a south facing window for reference.

I’m new & hoping I repotted correctly. I added the new potting soil to the base of the new pot and attempted massaging the roots to loosen but it stayed mostly intact. I pressed gently but firmly into the new soil & added a layer to the top to help support it. If anyone has suggestions I appreciate the help!

Does anyone have suggestions on how to save this aloe? It’s been grey for months. I’ve been struggling to figure out exactly what’s wrong.

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew how to start a hydroponic plant? I have a beaker for it to go in, but I’m not sure how to get it started. Do I just plant a hydroponic plant (ie. tomatoes, spinach, lavender, catnip, etc) wait for it to grow, then pull a part off at the root and then stick it in water?

Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my plant? It’s browning on some of the leaves.

Does anybody use a hygrometer for their succulent terrariums? The indoor air is very dry, but the terrarium is retaining moisture because it has condensation at the bottom layer. But it’s open at the top, and I think some of the succulents might be drying out from the top because they’re getting a teensy bit wrinkled. ☹️

I have this plant that I love, but it definitely needs some help. Should I trim it and use the stacked moss poles or try these two small bamboo trellises? Also, does this new pot look too deep? Right now the plant/current moss pole is leaning on the wall. If I turn the pot, it just topples because the moss pole is the bendy kind and I can’t straighten it enough. Thanks in advance!

I need help with figuring out why my peace lily’s flowers are turning brown, it isn’t overwatered , I’ve had her roughly for a month, and this happened out of no where. Should I cut the brown parts off or would they fall off on their own. Please help 😭

Hey y’all! So I bought this giant elephant ear (Alocasia sarian) on a massive sale about a week ago but not too sure how to care for it best. I have read it likes humidity and part sun part shade so I have it in my bathroom where it gets partial light from a southwest window about 6 ft away. I’m concerned it’s not doing to well because the leaves have been yellowing and one of the leaves has started to change color a bit. Any recommendations on how to care for it would be awesome!! also any help or suggestions for the leaves/ tell me if it’s normal or not would be much appreciated!!:))
