We already had the plant in the terracotta pot and believe it’s a Chinese Evergreen! We can’t figure out what our new plant (black speckled pot) is—diffenbachia or a different variegation of Chinese Evergreen?

I am in awe. How does nature make something like this. My newest addition.

Help! My string of hearts is turning yellow at the top!!! Why is it doing this? It’s really happy with the new vines it’s making but the top isn’t going well. The soil is damp too though.

I gifted my daughter-in-law a new blue banana musa tree because I have one that has grown into a healthy 6’ tree since September, 2025 which I’m growing indoors. I bought her a pot exactly like mine but she’s chosen to keep outdoors (in Indiana) until the cold weather sets in in the Fall. Today she sent me a photo and when I saw it my heart sank a little. Can anyone tell me what’s going on with it? I don’t know if she is overwatering or if it’s too hot for the poor thing? I’m not familiar with growing it outside. Why are the leaves so bent over? It IS, however sprouting a new leaf. Is it my imagination that there’s something wrong with it? Thank you so much for any help you can give me to advise her.

This is Zerubbabel my rubber plant (you got to name them they grow better 😃). I have a question I’ve only had him 15 months and he is growing far quicker than I expected! See the photo from last year and this years! So last year a cut off the top inch or so. I was hoping to get two new shoots but only one has grown back. How do you get a rubber plant with lots of offshoots and stems? By the way I totally love his new look, it makes him look quirky (a bit like me 🤣)

I have to keep all my plants in one room but am running out of indirect sunlight shelves. I currently have a sheer curtain I use to put between the window and plants but how important is that really? Now that the trees in front of the window have grown in, the sun is mostly filtered and only comes through about 3-4 hours a day? Could I put any in direct sunlight? I have a pothos, umbrella tree and monsera

Is this Hoya (I think a crimson queen) vine doomed? I got the plant and it was just the cuppy green leaves and the previous owner said it hadn't grown at all for her. So I thought it was good when it started growing a lot and shooting out the more oblong leaves, but it almost immediately only shot out white leaves. I thought they would darken, but they don't seem to be. Do I cut the vines with all white/pink leaves? What kind of light or care does it need?

Oh my gosh…I just had to share how happy my P. caperata is after traveling and neglecting it a little. Difficult to remember how it was struggling 9 months ago and was almost completely dead. After putting it in new, better draining soil in a larger planter and giving lots more sunlight, it is THRIVING.

Baby’s first aerial root! Should I move the support stick? Also a picture of her newest leaf

Hi all I could use a little help with these cuttings. I put them in water a couple of weeks ago and they have all grown new leaves but only one has a root. Can I go ahead and put them in dirt or do I need to let them sit in water longer to grow roots? Plz l

Update: ☘️on my green and purple combo shamrock that I chopped off completely a few weeks ago, with some TLC☀️ she is growing back! Yay!
