I need help figuring out what kind of Hoya this is any help would be appreciated!!
I noticed my plant grew two mushrooms. Are these harmful?
My ficus altissima appears to be very happy and healthy. It recently opened up a new bud and the leaf looked great but 3 or 4 days later I found it had dropped. No other issues with the plant. Wondering if anyone might know why? Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know anything about growing potted plants in a vivarium? I think this is sunburnt from the artificial sunlight? Too much water from misting the tank? Any questions, suggestions?
(Me being an obsessive plant parent) About to repot some new plants, and a couple have the tops of their roots exposed above the soil and are dry. Will this pose future problems for the plant/will it be fine once I repot it with topsoil and water? Additionally, how deep into the soil do you usually plant a stem? Concerned about avoiding stem rot while also keeping the plant stable enough (ty in advance - trying to correctly re-learn some houseplant basics haha).
Does anyone know what my alocasia frydek is doing? She pushed these two stems (?) from its newest leaf. Are they flowers? Are they two new leaves? What is she doing? Lol š
Does anyone know whatās wrong with my Norfolk Pine? Itās been curling lately and the ends of the branch will sometimes fall off at random or to touch.
Does my panda plant look ok? Does it look like itās stretching at all? I didnāt think it was as it has many side shoots-top to bottom and all the way around the plant.
Iāve never used fertilizer before, and tried fertilizing my lemon balm plant recently. Today I noticed these white spots - is this salt or something else? What should I do?
Are these black specks on the dried out pieces of sheath along the stem of my Dracaena gold dust/Florida beauty normal? Looks like it could be dirt. Havenāt seen any movement, really hoping itās not pests!
Hey guys! How youāre well! This pretty lady has been living near a heater for the past 5 months and now is heavily curling and browning. Iāve been misting quite often but it itās noticeably unhappy. Iāve moved it. My question: should I try along the brown edges, or Leave them alone?
So I was just gifted a cutting of a ghost plant, and Iām wondering what I should do, like what is a good pot for it and what type of soil is best, I know itās a succulent so itās durable but Iād like to see it thrive instead of barley surviving
Is it okay to add Osmocote (slow-release) fertilizer to a plant when repotting it? I added it on a couple of my plants when I repotted them recently and now I am a little concerned I probably shouldāve waited⦠𫣠Picture of my marble queen rooting in water for attention šø
Is ācroton Mameyā the same thing as ācroton mammiā? Also Mammy and maybe others?
I accidentally overwatered this when I fell asleep with a toddler last night and it sat in water overnight. This new leaf curled under!! Should I repot, even though I just did that recently? And is the curled leaf a goner?
Trying to remedy my issue of curling tips. anyone experience this and know the solution? Some curl in others curl out.
(I put this in the General area, but I figured I could put this here as well). Iām a beginner at this, but I have two Mexican Snowball plants, a Echeveria plant and a Zebra plant all in a glass bowl together, and I was wondering (because of there size not now, but if) do I have to repot them at any time? Or do I not? I have a money tree in there was well, but because of my pets Iām going to take it out and give it to someone close just because I donāt want my pets to get in it. I bought this from someone at a vendor fair today and filled out the information on the app and it is watered but I just wanted to ask (this is my first time and I want to try to keep it alive for a long time).
Hi all!! Here with a radiator question. I live in MPLS and have a lot of radiators located near windows. Iām terrified of putting plants near or on top of these which sucks because they get fantastic light. Specifically the one behind my couch is long beneath a huge window, but every plat I put her seems to die. So my question is what kind of plants will be well suited for these locations (warm, drying, sun). Iām thinking cacti but anything else? Iād love something full, with foliage if possible.
