posting again about my other avocado tree from a seed lol the new leaves always look so happy, healthy, and upright but the lower leaves are in a permanent droop. it doesn’t matter if I water/don’t water, etc. should I just prune them off or is there something else I should do? I can find anything online about it. thanks!

Hello!
I was gifted this Persian Shield 2 weeks ago! The bottom leaves were faded and dull looking but the top leaves looked okay. Now the bottom leaves are falling off and the top leaves are looking a little wilted and 2 stems are leaning a bit.
I watered it a little bit 2 days ago but am afraid to add more and overwater. Any tips? Thank you!!

Hi everyone! I’m new here and would love some advice on what soil I should be using to repot my new plants. I bought a majestica palm tree for
My living room and I never repotted it and now it’s a bit under the weather with leaves browning and dry! Also need to get a good fertilize
Any advice for a new plant mom?
Thank you!!

So spring is coming and I’m deciding which plants to repot and how. And as I scrolled through pictures online of lemon lime maranta, I legit didn’t see a single plant that looks like mine.
It’s been growing with grow lights above it all fall and winter. I’ve even propped from her four times and she’s growing like this. Halp?

I started growing this avocado seed and it was growing super fast. I think there was a drafr in the window and suddenly the tip was shriveled and black. I decided to trim that top part ofd but now the growth has completely stopped. any tips??? it looks like it might create an off-shoot on the left side ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Swiss cheese vine or monkey mask? It’s been getting leggy that’s what is making me question it.

So I broke a pickle off of my pickle plant, put it in water. It has roots. But my question is it still going to grow more pickles? Do rhizomes grow back?

Can anyone help me identify this plant? I’ve forgotten the name of it (got it long ago)

I’m having a lot of trouble finding the right soils (I’m pretty new at this). About to repot my peace Lily, and plant a Wandering Jew that has been propagating a couple weeks.
Can anyone give some general recommendations for how to mix a few efficiently? These soils get so full and dense with water. Just trying to be a better plant mom lol. 🥺

Does anyone have experience growing succulents in a terrarium? I want to replant mine from a regular planter into a globe terrarium and create a wonderful little landscape, but I’m concerned about ventilation. I can’t find any terrariums with additional ventilation holes and I don’t know how big the main opening should be if there aren’t any. Can anyone please advise? Thanks ahead of time! 🙏🏼

I’m fairly new to this so I’m going to apologize now because I have a feeling I’m going to have quite a few questions in the near future. This is my Coppertone Stonecrop. I’m getting ready to repot it but after doing some reading I have a bad feeling that this guy has not had enough direct light. The leaves are all very firm but they aren’t supposed to be growing downwards are they? Do I need to cut the tops off, let them scab over and pot them in soil? I also read that this plant will spill out of its pot as it grows so should I remove the stabilizing sticks and let it grow where it wants? Thank you!

Any Hoya friends know what this plant is? (Also, would be nice to have an ID section!)

Any recommendations on how to repot and stake my baby? Her first birthday is coming up next month!

This is my precious philodendron fuzzy petiole. I potted her up a while back and then staked her up cuz her new leaves were unfurling and only half the leaf was greening. She gets between 50-60% humidity. I still have to “help” the new leaves and mist almost daily. I recently realized they like to crawl. Any tips?

Got this cebu blue in October (I think). She’s growing great. Any tips on helping her fill out?

Am i supposed to trim my dragon tree? I know I have her in a pot that’s too big.

This is a Blue Jelly Bean sedum that unfortunately started stretching and the leaves became farther apart due to the grow light being too far away. After moving the light much closer it has started to fill out and it is now growing really well. Since there is no way to really fix a plant that has grown like this, should I maybe cut the top part of this plant off and start another? It’s almost time to repot it anyway so I was thinking of planting the top and the remaining bottom in a pot together. If so, how much should I take off? 1/2? 1/4? What is the best way to do this to ensure success? I appreciate any advice!

I received these cuttings a while ago and just transferred them to soil as they had rooted well. Does anybody know what to expect ? Will it need a support like moss pole and how to care for it ? Thank you plant friends.

I have a collection of rainbow glasses and vases (but I’m still looking for orange lol) I have a few kinds of pothos and a silver inch plant in a few but I was wondering what other plants have the potential to stay living in water?
rachel myrtle
okay i need help. pothos consistently don't like me. i give them light but not so much that the leaves burn. i let the soil dry out enough before watering, even letting it get a little wilty. i make sure water gets to the roots but it's in well draining soil and a pot with drainage. it's not too cold/hot/or dry in my house. the plant was doing well when i bought it, no pests or anything. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?!
