Hello, newbie plant mom here! I recently got this cutting as a gift and it has grown so much! She said it was a pale puma! When I looked up pictures of it fully grown, it’s seems to typically be bushier. Should I do anything differently to fill it out more? Or is it normal for it to be so tall and leggy? Thanks!

Currently need help to ID this plant. it popped up in my green philodendron after i repotted it with the indoor miracle grow soil mix. Assuming its an Alocasia or Syngonium?

I have a question about dried sphagnum moss. I use it as a drainage layer in my terrariums, but I’ve seen some photos where people put it on top of the soil with their houseplants. I know live moss insulates and retains moisture—but are there any pros and cons to using dried sphagnum moss? Thanks ahead of time for your insights! 🙏🏼

Hello! I’ve had this Macodes Petola for about 3ish years now. I switched it to sphagnum moss about a year ago. I think the pot was too big + no drainage the water retention was super high and I think it got pretty overwatered. The leaves have been a bit curled and faded for about a year now but the plant is still alive and hasn’t dropped leaves. 2 days ago I switched it to a smaller terra cotta pot w/drainage hole with a mix of sphagnum and perlite. Does anyone know if the leaves will bounce back, or have any general tips for good jewel orchid care? New leaves are coming in but I don’t want them to suffer the same fate. I don’t have much jewel orchid experience. I’m wondering if this is a lack of fertilizer issue as well.

Hi! I recently bought this Manjula pothos off of Facebook marketplace and she was doing great, but I recently noticed that the top of the soil started to turn white. I scraped it off, but it came back again. I’m not sure what this is. Does anyone know what causes that and what I can do to prevent it?

I just got this Easter Lily this Easter and it was doing ok but I had it inside with low light but after it started looking bad I took it out to my green house but put it where it would get bright indirect light so it wouldn’t be shocked but it seems to be getting worse so I took it out of its pot to check if that was the problem but it seems ok to me so if anyone has any insights I’m open to suggestions Ok so I used the Planta’s diagnostic feature and it said “overwatered” which I think fits (although I’m hesitant to trust AI diagnostics) I don’t know the watering requirements of this plant too well so I’ve been blindly watering when Planta sends a notification despite usually snoozing or skipping my other plants’ notifications so I’d still love to hear y’all’s opinions and any remedies you suggest

Does anyone have any recommendations for (preferably on the cheaper side) plant shelf humidifiers?

Got this hurricane fern from the clearance section, any tips on helping it along? And should I give it plant food yet? Still a newbie with ferns 😅

I’ve had this cochineal cactus for a year or so, and she’s grown like 2 inches in the past few weeks. Here’s my question: what are these little reddish black things? Also, the little green hair spikes? Flowers? Seeds? New growth? Lol

Anybody have good experience with semi-hydroponics? Considering using leca for a couple of my plants, but don’t want to be bothered with a complicated nutrient system haha. Would just using a normal liquid fertilizer (Foliage-Pro) be ~okay~ or is that not advisable?

Any recommendations for the best soil to use and pot size for indoor plants? Specifically for monstera plants and philodendron pink princess!

Attempting to propagate some succulent leaves & one of them seems to be doing well. I haven’t watered this much at all but i’ve been opening my curtains so theres some sunlight in the living room, how is the succulent doing?

What is it? Rescued from the clearance shelf at Lowe’s, it was marked “twilight lush” preferring humidity and low light. It was absolutely drowning and had a lot of root rot. The leaves you can see here seem healthy. I showed it to another planty person who has no idea what it was. Thoughts??

Would any of my current plants need special water

There’s probably an obvious answer to my question, but i cannot figure out what’s causing my corn plant to shrivel like this. the leaves are crispy but i have a good watering schedule. if you have any ideas or comments please let me know
