Lol! I complained on a review of an online purchase about the quality of a product I had received. In response the vendor sent me this one, of course wants an updated review... But still... This one is gorgeous! Emerged from the box, simply stunning. A few blooms became gloomy because it arrived while I was away, so it had to wait in the box. Overall very nice though
What is your favorite type of palm plant and why? I have a parlor palm that I really like and am looking to branch out (pun intended).
Okay guys!! Me and my girlfriend just moved and ended up finding out there’s minimal lighting with so many trees around our house😖 it had me STRESSING about my plants. But some grow lights and a lamp I’ve got most of my plants setup now :)) getting some hanging lights to put up, and I got my heating pad to germinate 3 different tropical plants!! Got my organic tropical soil with vermiculite, coco coir and peat moss with earth worm castings as a fertilizer for when they start rooting! I’m so excited and very nervous for this new chapter into my plant business and my hobby/passion.

New too these ones... Seems to be stable and content with my place, I think I accidentally gave it a sunburn. Haven't paid attention too any growth, but I think it's going ok. I just keep it in this corner now where no light shall touch the leaves ❤️🔥
Was in Publix to buy produce, but one must pass floral to get to produce. 😆 I’ve never heard of this plant, but I saw it there. I looked at it, put it back, and went and got my groceries. I could not stop thinking about it, so I went back and got it before I checked out. 😃
Was wondering what this weird bumpy leaf was on my Alocasia scalprum, but after some online searching I think it’s a flower/inflorescence! This is my first ever Alocasia so I’m glad she’s happy! It seems the reddit consensus is to let the flower bloom & wilt before cutting— do y’all agree?
I inherited this plant from a friend, whose daughter was moving. I don’t know anything about its history really. It had to survive a 5-hour drive to my house. Then I cut off all the dead parts and fertilized it and watered it really good and then I’ve left it alone ever since. Right now, I have it in my bathroom, which is the most humid place I have. There’s no windows, but I do have some grow lights in there for my other tropical plants. I’ve noticed all the places that I added more topsoil and fertilizer and watered, sort of have pits around the stems and some little white spots on some of the foliage. I’ve never really had much luck with this plant type so if anybody has any suggestions, I am open to them! I would really like - bare minimum- for it to not die, but thriving would be even better.
I feel like my dieffenbachia is about to do the rare thing and give me a flower, indoors.. or am I trippin🧐🤔🤷♀️💕🪴

Everyone here has grown exponentially!!! It’s crazy how much in the last few months!!!
I have this terrarium and I love her so much! I’ve had for about a month and a half. She’s gotten big and the instructions say I can trim the leaves or I can repot her in a bigger terrarium. I can’t afford another terrarium right now and I don’t want to trim her leaves but I know she will grow back. Can anyone give me tips on trimming the leaves? I don’t want to kill her. And if anyone can tell me what plants are in them I’d be grateful aswell. I’ve been trying to find out what there are since I got them.. the internet says it’s a fittonia but I think it’s the one beside the big one.

This is my rubber plant (I named him Zerubbabel!). I only got him start of April and he has already grown 3 new leaves, with a fourth on the way! 😳 I thought these things are suppose to grow slooooow. Does anyone know how large he might get in a year as he already doubled in height since I got him (beginning to think Zerubbabel might be a triffid in disguise) 😆

Recently my peace lily appears to be growing more ‘leggy’. Anyone know any good tips to promote more leaf growth?
HELP! Bought this corn plant about 2 weeks ago. Beautiful when we took him home. Got all the right soil. Watered him when we got him repotted. Have been following all of Planta’s recommendations on water schedule, fertilizer, etc. I put him in my office originally, about 6 feet from a 6x6ft huge window that gets plenty of sun. A few days in, he started to get these grey streaks on his leaves and Dr Planta said it still might not be enough sun, and recommend we move him outside to our patio, where he probably gets about 4 hours of indirect morning and midday sun, and about 4 hours of afternoon evening sun. He’s been out there for 3 days now, and he’s still got these terrible spots that have gotten worse, and now he’s drooping! Live near Tampa Bay FL. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Got a Florida ghost philodendron discounted obviously with it’s condition, a painted lady philodendron and a Venus flytrap 🥲 excited to recoupe these philodendrons as they were in pretty poor shape :(
