Hello everyone, How does everyone clean water stains off of velvety leaves? I’ve been avoiding this because I don’t want to damage any of the leaves on my lemon lime mantras but…. it’s about time they get a good clean and dusting. I’ve been reading on different methods/do’s and dont’s but can’t find anything consistent about velvety leaves. I’d appreciate the feedback 🙂
You can dust the velvet leaves with a soft art paint brush or soft makeup brush. Then, wipe with a water and white vinegar solution. Use a soft cloth and gently wipe the water spots.

I’ve put mine in the shower and I’ve also individually cleaned each leaf… in my experience they really don’t mind- you won’t mess him up, as long as you don’t use something super concentrated. 🌿

Hi! That’s a beautiful prayer plant! One hack I’ve found to be super helpful is using one lemon and water with a soft cloth. And yes you can even use vinegar-if it’s acidic it’s all good and it will not harm the plant. My prayer plant loves lemon and is super showy shiny after. Good luck!
