My Calathea Warscewiczii has started seriously curling and browning at the edges. I’ve had it for 3 months and it was looking amazing. I then went away for a few days and left my husband in charge. I’m not sure what happened - he carried on with my regime - but it’s been downhill since then. This was two weeks ago. Any ideas?! I have Alocasias and Anthuriums which have done well so I thought the Calathea would be OK but… argh. So far, I’ve cautiously trimmed the worst brown bits, and realised that while I’ve been watering with distilled water, I’ve been misting with filtered water! I think this may be the issue. I also think that misting is a bit much for it and have bought a new humidifier for it. Its spot averages around 50-60% humidity so I may have been too enthusiastic with misting. I also wonder if I’ve been under watering slightly - I’m a historic over-waterer but may have been slightly too stingy. Has anyone had this, and successfully diagnosed and fixed the issue?
