Hey everyone, I got this BEAUTIFUL monster monstera and I’ve never experienced this. Whwt are those brown patches?

    It could be sunburn or root rot. Is it getting direct sunlight?

      It is about 1ft out of a window but I live in the PNW so my plants don’t get much sun except on the rare sunny day. But this plant had it when it was brought home and it was inside a home dept

      What kind of soil is it in?

      Whatever it is in from the store. Looks like regular potting soil so I’m avoiding watering it until it’s damn near dried out. Hesitant to repot it as A.) don’t have a pot big enough, and B.) none of the roots are coming out of the bottom yet.
