I am an African Evergreen Nephthytis. Planta says I would be happiest growing on a support. Can anyone make this more clear? 😊💚🪴

    I grow mine without any support and just let it be wild and bushy. I’ve heard the leaves don’t size up a ton so I think it’s up to you on what you prefer!

      TXS! I really can’t imagine it on any kind of a support. And I like mine sort of wild and bushy too! 😊💚🪴

    I didn’t have any support with mine for about 2 1/2 years and then she started getting really long and big, too much where it started falling over and with being used to growing upwards the bottom leaves started dying from leaning. Once I put in support she is doing amazing and growing up and outwards now. Time will tell if it will end up needing some help or not!

      I actually used a crochet hanger and used the main strings to hold up the big stems and then weaved other leaves through to get them to grow in different directions.
