Hey!! A black thumb here 😅 My heart has finally healed from my last dead plant, and I went and got two new ones. A ZZ and a Hoya Rangsan. First time trying out Planta so I hope that’ll fix some things for me! So far adoring my new plants. Especially the ZZ. Plants that don’t flower are just so pretty. Some people just think color and delicacy are beautiful, but I think ground cover, succulents, big leafy plants, and small green ones are the most beautiful. Cross your fingers for me this goes well!! Also any advice on how to take care of these two would be appreciated. Or if you have any name ideas! I really like to name my plants. Call me crazy

Zz’s like to get prettyyyyyy dry before watering, I don’t know too much about Hoya’s but your plants are so pretty! Nice pots too, I recommend leaving them in the planter pots inside of the decorative pots, it makes watering/ maintenance so much easier and keeps your pots cleaner! Best of luck with your gorgeous greens 🌱

Thanks for the advice! I have them in their planter pots inside of the main pots for drainage. The decorative are just so they look pretty and go with my room 😊 Don’t worry, my plants will be very happy with their situation

ZZs like a good medium indirect light, and need little to no water (especially during the winter). You may end up watering it once a month at most. Hoyas are somewhat similar in care, as they also don’t need a lot of water and can thrive in bright-medium indirect light. Overwatering and infections are the two main problems I see with Hoyas, so be sure to make sure the soil dries out completely before watering. And do a little research on identifying infections. They are a little finicky, but generally easy to care for. And if they’re really happy, they’ll bloom for you. Hope this helps, and good luck!
