So I changed my pearls n jade and snow queen to water bc they was suffering from root rot do you think it’ll help? I fertilized the water before putting them in there. I ordered them off of Walmart and they already had root rot I’ve had them for about a month and the seem ok but still has rotting roots I had them in soil since I got them just asking if y’all think it’s the best idea for them
At the moment I’d refresh the water without fertilizer. The plant can’t absorb it unless it’s developed its roots anyway. If you’re plants have some roots in there from when it was in soil, don’t be alarmed if they fall off. As long as your cuttings have nodes they’ll grow new roots. It is probably just a waiting game at the moment for it to produce water roots.

If it’s not the main root you’ll be okay talking the damage ones off. Even if it is, it should be fine to remove as long as they are still doing good in the water.
