Hello lovelies! š± Wondering about my bird of paradise. Iāve had this plant for over a month now so it should be acclimated to my spaceā¦ thereās Iām guessing a big root growing out the bottom of the planters pot and Iām wondering if I should repot? Or if these like to be somewhat root bound? Thank you!!
Check all the roots before deciding to repot. The one exposed root could be living in the water below the pot. Completely remove the pot. More roots than soil means repotting needed. More soil than roots means wait and check again later

1 like Just really big tuberous ones at the bottom
It looks fine unless itās blocking drain holes. I would also drain thoroughly before putting the plastic pot into the ceramic pot. Water between the pots is attractive to roots.
