The jasmine is in full bloom! Should I cut back the brown dry vines underneath it? The green vines and flowers see to be growing over the top of a mess of brown ones, not sure if they are dead or just how mature jasmine e vines look?

As part of prepping the plant for spring, trimming any dead or dying vines is good so that the healthy parts aren't wasting energy trying to get them to grow. It also cleans up the plant and you can shape it as you trim it.

Is your jasmine in a sunny bit. I bought some to put on a north fence. It has a little sunshine in the evenings and plenty of general light but I keep getting a warning on the app saying it's not in a good place.
