Any advice on how to vacation prep my indoor potted plants? Gone for 8 days and I live in Los Angeles, where we have nice weather. I was looking at using a cotton wick and container of water. Anyone used this before? Any tips? Thank you!

i think the cotton wick with water would be great! you could get water globes as well or water the plants that need it and wrap the pot in cling film to trap the moisture.

Water the small plants before you leave. No need to add a wick. Let the soil naturally dry out. Check if they need water when you return. The wick will keep the soil continuously wet. Some plants can’t take it and will get root rot. On a side note, that moss and stone will slow the rate of evaporation of water from the top soil of those pots. This can lead to root rot for plants sensitive to staying in damp too long.
