Yellowing devils ivy. It’s always done so well but I had a lot of yellowing recently and it appeared to be pot bound so I repotted. Still continuing to yellow at the lower leaves. Any advice?

My newbie guess is bc it’s putting so much energy into those lovely green tendrils! 😍 Maybe the yellow leaves are just expiring as they do.

This is correct. As the vines get older and longer, it tends to drop its leaves toward the base, putting all its energy into growing. My practice has always been to cut it once it gets to a certain length so it’ll grow more vines. By the time the leaves start dying, there are so many other leafy vines that it doesn’t matter. Though it should also be said, this plant looks thirsty which will accelerate the rate at which the leaves die off.

Check for pests on the plant and in the soil. Ensure the plant dries out between watering. It really looks like overwatering if the lighting is sufficient and there are no pests.
