Can you over mist medium-high humidity plants? I have a really hard time not misting my plants 1-2 times a day 😅 I am an over bearing plant mother and obsessively have to do things like repot, water, etc so misting is how I keep it at bay LOL Pic of my baby monsteras in their new thrifted dish for attention
cute trellises! I think some plants to better with higher humidity and it's all about what that specific plant is used to. not saying you can turn a cactus into a mist-loving plant, but you get my drift I hope. and if you want them to have higher or lower humidity tolerance, slowly acclimate them.

1 like pretty much! Just keep an eye out for mold. I'd like to say I'm no expert though! I'm experimenting with a few different enclosed plant terrariums myself because I overwater and helicopter plant mom asf

0 likes But yes you can cause Edema, which is not fixable, or too much humidity can lead to fungus occasionally. Make sure you have good air circulation
1 like Thank you!! So once a day for most tropical plants might be too much? Definitely don’t want to f anything upp. Planta recommends every 1-2 days for most my plants but I’m just so obsessive lol guess I should follow the guide I pay for LOL
0 likes I mist my tropicals 1x a day. It's gonna depend on your home humidity. Mines about 50%+ so I don't need more than 1x usually, when it's really hot and dry, I do 2x day.

I mist my plants at least twice a day, cuz my humidifier can't seem to keep the humidity high enough for my alocasias.
