   So I’ve got a couple tips to help you here, if you don’t mind. I’ve circled in yellow where the next leaf will grow from. For monsteras, the previous leaf sort of houses the next leaf at the base of its stem as it starts to develop. So I would remove that zip tie I’ve pointed to with the red arrow, just in case it interferes with that next leaf. I also circled the base in red. And lastly, from what it looks like in the picture, I think a bit too much of the base of the plant is covered with soil. I like to just cover the roots with soil. I think it helps prevent rot To answer your question, your monstera will likely take a month or two to settle in if this is a new pot. After the roots do their thing, new leaves are usually pushed out every month or two in good conditions. Monstera typically will make aerial roots from the main stem after the new leaf finishes developing. These aerial roots will want to attach to the pole. You may need to guide them a little as it grows, but once they hit the moss, they usually go wild from there. Hope that helps and that your monstera is taking off in no time!
