Hello!! I got this silver inch plant several weeks ago from a grocery store feeling happy with how full it is! However I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. I have given it plenty of water, but lots of leaves are crinkling up.🥲 any tips? I only have one north facing window in my room.

The root looks fine for now, but the soil is a bit too wet. New plant usually need about a month to adapt to new environment, so it is expected to have some yellow and dry leaves at this stage. Stop over watering it and give it more time.

This is pretty common with silver inch plants I'm afraid. They grow so aggressively that the new growth very quickly blocks out the old growth and the go crispy. Maybe sure you keep on top of pruning as you go and it should reduce the crispyness a bit

Higher humidity will reduce the crispy edges

I have the pink nanouk variety and its leaves get crispy whenever they get wet. I used to water it in the shower but now I either top water carefully or bottom water. If you’ve been misting it I’d stop. If it accidentally gets wet I’ve found using a not-too-cold fan for 10-30 mins (and several feet away) works.

I second this feedback! The leaves do not like to be wet, they will ‘burn’ with moisture contact.

It looks like it might need to be repotted. It probably needs water more frequently if you're not planning on repotting.

Hi. This plant loves to explore. I had one in the kitchen and she took over the cabinets - grew to 14 feet! Also very hardy so don’t be afraid to divide it up into many pots.
