Do I cut that long stem of my Hoya
Do I cut that long stem of my Hoya
Dat baby wants to climb. If you don't want to put in a trellis or poles, I'd chop and prop it.

This is how Hoyas grow. They put out a long stem to attempt to find something to climb. Leaves and peduncles will grow on the stem whether it climbs or not. Any part of the stem it decides it doesnât need will eventually dry up. Hoyas are very good at maintaining themselves without the need for pruning. So itâs kind of up to you. If youâre trying to control the growth or donât want it to get any bigger, cut it. But my suggestion is to just let it be so it can grow more.
