What are these? They created a web and those dots are tiny insects moving about. Should I isolate? How do I get rid of them?

Spider mites. Isolate the infected plant and inspect all your other plants for mites too. Treat with neem oil or a bug spray formulated for houseplants. Good luck 👍

i use a few drops of dr bronner’s castile soap and essential oils (peppermint, tea tree, and lavender) in a spray bottle filled with water and it eradicates spider mites in a few treatments

I had a major problem with spider mites with my weeping fig which I got from a nursery. After isolating the plant I took a cotton ball and dipped it in Isopropyl alcohol 70% and wiped these bugs off - as much as I could every second day. For past 2 months have been treating with a concoction I learnt from a farmer friend- about 300 ml of water, 1 cup of alcohol and a few drops of dish soap. It seems to be responding and may have brought it back from loosing it. Now I am just treating with a few drops of neem and turmeric oil in a spray bottle of water- spraying the leaves and soil Sorry about the long text

No worries, I appreciate all the information. I’m new to this.

Also as my plant was very large - I covered the soil with a cling wrap and gave it a shower in cold water - not icy - just cold water. The mites don’t like cold water

Neem Max has been my best friend for pests. After a couple treatments I’m pest free (I believe 😆)

Those are spider mites! They usually appear during the winter forest people, I would isolate the plant and check the others for spider mites too! You can use neem oil in the soil and I use neem oil to wipe down the leaves to! Hope this helps P.S. there’s bug repellents etc that you can buy on Amazon for pretty cheap, and they work well to, just look for the ones with higher ratings :)

Honestly I just give them a shower and wipe alcohol wipes on them, make sure to REALLY dry of the leaves, tradescantias hate wet leaves.
