Never doing Thai basil again 😅 replaced with a dwarf umbrella today (first two pics) since the water hog goes from fine (last pic) to near death (2nd to last pic) despite being watered every other day. Planted him out in a corner of the garden "survival of the fittest" style. 🤣🤣🤣
Just venting. He had several attempts with auto-watering stuff and I always "brought him back" but I'm traveling more now and it's just not working out.

I saw some flowers on the basil in one picture. The basil will die if the flower buds are not cut off early and they are allowed to seed.
