Hi I have this new baby at home. She’s sooo beautiful. I’m obsessed with her. Shes literally so eye catching. I’m getting to know her. Is there a way I can tell if she needs anything outside of browning leaves? She’s more settled in my home now. But when her leaves droop down, I’m not sure If it’s solely because of the circadian rhythm or she isn’t ok..

Yes that is normal.. at night they do. All prayer plants do .. or " close “ like praying hands at night

They “close” at night. Mine is sensitive to tap water - so make sure your tap doesn’t have a lot of minerals, fluoride, etc. I also don’t let it dry out all the way. Not wet, but a little damp when I water

I killed three prayer plants because I put them in the wrong spots and improper care. Overwatering led to fungus gnats. Underwatering and too much sunlight caused to brown leaves. Eventually, the current one is striving with shallow water in the pebbles tray and indirect sunlight near the window. The drain holes of the pot have never touched the water directly, but pebbles only. Keep refilling water in the pebble tray help increasing the humidity that the prayer plant likes. If you live in a very humid area, you plant should be ok. Good luck to your plant!
