Planty Things

I did a thing during my lunch time and I’m so happy. This Alocasia Frydek variegated was very high on the bucket list. Any tips on keeping her happy?

    I just got one too, looking for the same tips. So scared of reversion, or it dying, or anything happening to it at all.. one thing I have learned is that any plant with white variegation would do well with a silica supplement once a month. I was told by one of my sellers that the silica protects the white in the plant. Obviously more light than green plants, but never direct sun. Supplementing with artificial lights is what I do. Seems to be working this far, we will see.. yours is beautiful though!!

      So pretty!! I love white leaves but they terrify me 😂. I haven’t read up much on silica I’m going to do some digging. Thank you!!

      Is it just the white that it helps or pink as well??

      I believe it’s for all types of variegation.
