SamkhowellWhat conditions do you grow your colocasia and caladiums in? Do you grow your colocasia outdoors and in just water? I havenāt had much luck with either and truly admiring your skills with these two beauties..

Aw thanks āŗļø The frog in a blender caladium (light green) is in leca but the other two are in soil. Theyāre outside this year because I moved in with my partner and donāt have enough room for all my plants at the new place š¤£ Iāve had an extraordinarily wet summer, so Iām literally havenāt had to water them myself until the past couple weeks. They definitely do not like to dry out. So leca/hydro is a benefit there. When it gets chilly, Iāll let them go dormant so I can store the bulbs for the off season. Iām thinking of trying to squeeze the mojito colocasia inside for the winter though since itās just so handsome
