My American rubber plant marble has started putting new growth that is not marbled. This was a small plant when I got it and it grew like crazy. Is it in need of a bigger vase? Or any other reason why this is happening? Thanks!

Hm interesting…. Too much light maybe? What direction does that window face and have you moved the plant there in the past few months?
0件のいいねIt’s a west-facing window and the plant has been there since last October. Very weird. It is 11in high in a 4in pot

That might be so bright that it’s encouraging more variegation until there’s no green. Like when monstera albos put out half moon and then all white leaves

I agree…it might have too much direct light. I have one in a west facing window but the light is filtered. I also have one in a south facing window that seems to be doing really well

I read somewhere that the green goes when you don’t need chlorophyll (too much light) and the white or variegation goes when you need more chlorophyll (not enough light). All green means go… the light. Yellow means yield… to the shade!
