Should I be concerned about my rattlesnakes amount of droop in the day? I know they’re supposed to go up and down, but is this too much? Is there a “too much”? The plant firmly holds them down like this, it’s not floppy or mushy. But this would be hitting the jungle floor if this was in the wild.. something I wouldn’t expect from a plant with very delicate leaves. You can see at night they’re nearly sticking straight up. (Don’t make fun of me for sticking 3 pots in there to make it fit 😅)

Could they possibly just be older leaves that are starting to die off?

I don’t think so, it’s 2months old (my house) the leaves look and feel healthy.. my pic had bad lighting and makes them look more yellow than they actually are

i wouldn’t be concerned if it seems healthy otherwise. in my experience with prayer plants they’ll actually do the opposite when stressed, barely moving their leaves between day and night

does it happen to be drooping towards the light? Calatheas as you already know move a lot, mine will tilt its bottom leaves down and it’s top ones up like a giant radar dish

I’ve always noticed that but wasn’t sure if it was just chasing the light! Yes they’re lowest facing the light source.
