    I’ve attempted to grow this alocasia twice, both times I failed. They’re so beautiful it just makes you want one however I’d suggest checking the plant roots for a death plug. I got mine from a big box store and it had one on there.

      Same I got mine and while i was looking for corms i fond a death plug on all three pf mine

    A lot of people give up on these prematurely. They tend to lose a leaf whenever they grow a new one so for the first couple of years they might look a bit pathetic. They tend to like drying out before the next watering. Mine is in a bright, warm, humid south facing room out of the direct sun. I move it closer to window in winter. Its huge now and has flowered three times this year. Good luck, its a great plant.
