I just noticed that my snake plant finally bloomed!! I posted some days ago that it started to grow a stalk and had no idea they could do it at all. (I attached that initial photo too in case y’all missed it.) The flowers smell like what I remember big red gum tasting like. Which is probably an American thing only, but I don’t know how to really describe it… Maybe a spicy cinnamon with a tiny hint of vanilla? I’ll try to post a nicer photo in the morning. How exciting!

1 like Apparently it’s pretty rare for them to bloom indoors. I think they happen through neglect honestly, hahaha! I have had a few snake plants, my oldest being about 5 years old. This is maybe 3, in a hard to reach corner under a grow light and a small pot and I water once a month.
