Does anyone knows why my Fiddle Fig Tree leaves are clamping to the trunk like this?

    So, this is the same plant. I have never propagated one before. This one was 9feet and I decided to trimmed it and this is what has happened.

    That’s just how fiddle leaf figs look like. As you can see, the leaves on mine are more open because the plant is on the floor with sun coming in from the windows on the ceiling so maybe try adjusting the location of your plant :)
